I’m Michael Strawhorn, a proud native of South Carolina and a graduate of Clemson University. My background in Services Marketing has equipped me with valuable experience across various sectors, including restaurants, resorts, and operations management. My journey into the insurance industry began in 2016, inspired by my brother’s achievements as a State Farm agent. Before launching my own agency, I spent seven years working alongside another agent in the Upstate, where I witnessed firsthand the positive impact State Farm has on our neighbors and our community.

On a personal note, I'm fortunate to share my life with my amazing wife, Valerie. Our love story began in a dog park in Greenville back in 2010, and since then, we've built a joyful life together, welcoming our wonderful son, Patrick, and three beloved dogs—one of whom brought us together! Valerie works in the insurance field as well, specializing in behavioral health. As a family, we love exploring the great outdoors through hiking, camping, and discovering the beautiful mountains of South Carolina.

Giving back to our community is a cornerstone of our values. We are dedicated to helping people navigate the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and achieve their dreams. Leading a team of licensed insurance professionals who share this passion is incredibly fulfilling.
